Wychwood Wild Garden is a beautiful woodland and garden, close to the centre
of Shipton-under-Wychwood in Oxfordshire.

Its 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds much of which was laid out in the 1860's, is home to wild life and many breeds of ducks and birds. It is owned and managed by the local community and offered as a place of peace and tranquillity to local residents, guests and visitors to the area.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need a regular group of volunteers to help with the routine management and maintenance of the Garden. Nothing over strenuous or arduous, but if you like a bit of fresh air and are prepared to get involved please contact us for details of planned working days. We generally meet up each Tuesday morning from around 9.00am to Noon, so do email us to get notifications.
We also have major working parties three or four times a year as well as specific restoration projects during the summer.

Current Projects we are involved with include continuing the restoration of the water systems and ponds, improving the main paths with drainage and surfacing and splitting logs from the results of tree work.
